Boys and Girls in grades K – 8 are invited to play beginning mid-August through early November. The registration fee for Clinic (grades K – 2) is $100. Clinic is held on Saturday mornings at Kelly Field. Two “Play-days” will be scheduled on Saturday or Sunday throughout the season. The registration fee for grades 3-8 is $140.00 (additional fees if kilt is needed) Weeknight practices are held at Kelly Field.
Games are played on Sundays. An opportunity for more competitive play is available with our Elite team for 7/8th graders. Tryouts for this team will be held in early June.

Welcome to Bel Air Girls Fall Field Hockey Program
Bel Air Field Hockey is a Parks and Recreation program that participates in the Maryland Youth Field Hockey League.
The season runs from mid August to early November.
Bel Air Girls Field Hockey Program is welcoming all players starting at K- thru 8th grades.
The Bel Air Girls Hockey Program is geared on developing and introducing skills in the sport of field hockey. If you have never played or just want to compete in an organized competition that include great experienced coaches and/or have played the sport either at high school level or college level willing to pass on these skilled traits of hockey stick skills to the Bel Air Girls Field Hockey Program.
The program is Welcoming a new commissioner, Cari Biscoe, who wants to bring more to the program.
The goal is to create a committee group (volunteer) that will help provide the players the development and skills that will contribute to future hockey athletes. if interested please contact commissioner. cari@belairrec.org
Maryland Youth Field Hockey League provides the program play all over the counties. Allowing these youth players to play other counties hockey programs. Level of play has grown due to club programs and the League is moving forward to keep play equal and as a developing program for all players if new or experienced.
K-2nd , 3rd -4th, 5th-6th, 7th & 8th
- Format of Play and Practices during the Seasons is the following:
3-8 grade teams practice 2 week nights at Kelly Field in Bel Air and play games on Sunday afternoons throughout Harford, Baltimore, Carroll and Howard counties in Maryland
- Clinic will be TBD when the teams can meet the most. The seasons begins the Sat. after Labor Day and runs through the end of October. Playdays will be scheduled throughout the seasons; these can vary on weekends or weeknights. Expect an email with more details in late August from the Clinic Lead administrator.
- Practices for 3-8th grade for the fall season begin mid August. You will receive an email from your coach by mid August.
- Most of our Teams enjoy Tournament playing the Bel Air Girls Hockey Host Harford Hockey Festival the set date for this Tournament is Saturday, September 28, 2024. more information to follow.
