Elevate Your Season: Summer XC Prep Program

Gear up for the fall cross country season with a structured, supportive, and expert-led summer training program. Whether you are aiming for the varsity podium or running your very first 5k, our program is designed to build your engine and sharpen your speed.


Program Overview

  • Who: Athletes ages 13–18 (All ability levels welcome!)

  • When: Monday, June 22nd – Saturday, August 8th

  • Goal: Gradually build fitness and aerobic capacity to ensure you hit the ground running when official XC practices begin in mid-August.

Our staff consists of highly experienced local coaches who understand the specific demands of the Maryland high school racing circuit. We focus on injury prevention, progressive mileage, and mental toughness, ensuring every runner—from beginner to elite—receives the guidance they need.


Weekly Practice Schedule

We offer four organized opportunities per week. We know summer is busy—no practices are mandatory. We provide a comprehensive training plan so you can stay on track even if you miss a session.

Flexible Training for Busy Summers

Can’t make it every day? No problem. Upon registration, all participants receive a full summer training calendar. This allows you to follow the workout progression on your own time if you’re traveling or have other commitments, ensuring you never fall behind the pack.
