2024 Fall Rec Baseball Age Group Information

T-Ball

Schedule

  • Practice / Games will be on Saturday Mornings / Early Afternoons, from early April – Late May / Early June.

Equipment

  • Each player will be provided with a Jersey, hat, baseball pants, and socks by the program
  • You must provide your own glove, and shoes (baseball cleats recommended)
  • Helmets and bats are recommended, however team bats and helmets will be available for use

Games / Practice Information

  • Sessions are 45 minutes long, with the first 45 minutes being a practice type environment, and last 45 minutes consisting of non-competitive games.
  • During games the entire line up will bat, no outs are recorded
  • Weather permitting there will be 8 sessions (1 per week) in the Spring

7/8 Coach Pitch Baseball

Provided – Bats, Catchers equipment, Uniform Includes hat, shirt.

Required – Baseball Glove, Athletic Support (cup) for catchers, Helmet (can be rented from Bel Air Baseball)

Optional – Athletic Supporter (cup((Recommended)) Cleats (recommended), Bat, batting glove

Schedule of Practices / Games- 7/8 Games will take place on Sunday Afternoons beginning on 9/8/2024 and lasting through 10/27/2024. Games are approx. 2 hours long. Some teams may schedule practices prior to 9/8, however that is up to each coach and information will be sent out by the coach about practices.

 

9/10 Baseball

Provided – Bats, catchers equipment. Uniform Includes hat, shirt.

Required – Baseball Glove, Athletic Supporter (cup) for catchers, Helmet (can be rented from program)

Optional – Athletic Supporter (cup) ((Recommended)) Cleats (recommended), Helmet, Bat, batting gloves

Games will begin on 9/8/2024 and go through 10/27/2024, with most being scheduled in the morning.  Some teams will hold practices prior to 9/8, however that is left to each coach to decide.

11/12 Baseball
