2025 Spring Rec Baseball Age Group Information
Important Information
- All age groups dates / times are estimates based on planned activities. Changes may be needed because of field space availability or weather-related changes.
- Weeknight start times is generally 6:00PM, and unless otherwise noted all practices / games are 2 hours in length.
- Age Groups use May 1st as the determination of a players age. For Example a player for 9/10 Baseball, must turn 9 before 4/30/2025, however cannot turn 12 before 5/1/2025.
- Players who are 6, that have played 2 years of T-ball can request to be placed in the 7/8 Coach Pitch Program
T-Ball (Saturday League)
Schedule
- Practice / Games will be on Saturday Mornings / Early Afternoons, from early April – Late May / Early June.
Equipment
- Each player will be provided with a Jersey, hat, baseball pants, and socks by the program
- You must provide your own glove, and shoes (baseball cleats recommended)
- Helmets and bats are recommended, however team bats and helmets will be available for use
Games / Practice Information
- Sessions are 45 minutes long, with the first 45 minutes being a practice type environment, and last 45 minutes consisting of non-competitive games.
- During games the entire line up will bat, no outs are recorded
- Weather permitting there will be 8 sessions (1 per week) in the Spring
7/8 Coach Pitch Softball - Weeknight Only
Schedule
- Practice / Games will be on Monday / Thursday
Equipment
- Each player will be provided with a Jersey, hat, baseball pants, and socks by the program
- You must provide your own glove, and shoes (Softball cleats recommended)
- Helmets and bats are recommended, however team bats and helmets will be available for use
Games / Practice Information
- Practices / Games are between 90 Minutes and 2 hours long
- This league is a Clinic Style league, with a heavy emphasis on instruction, especially early in the season.
- Practices begin in Early April, with games starting in Mid-April on the same scheduled days, program will end in early June, around when HCPS dismisses for the summer.
9/10 Baseball
Schedule
- Practice / Games will be on Wednesday / Fridays
Equipment
- Each player will be provided with a Jersey, hat, baseball pants, and socks by the program
- You must provide your own glove, bat, and helmet and shoes (Baseball cleats recommended) Helmet's can be rented from program
- Athletic Support Cup recommended, required for catchers.
Games / Practice Information
- Practices / Games are between 90 Minutes and 2 hours long
- This league is a kid pitch league, with an emphasis on development, especially early in the season.
- Practices begin in Early April, with games starting in Mid-April on the same scheduled days, program will end in early June, around when HCPS dismisses for the summer.
11/12 Baseball

- Practice / Games will be on Tuesday / Thursdays

- Each player will be provided with a Jersey, hat, baseball pants, and socks by the program
- You must provide your own glove, bat, and helmet and shoes (Baseball cleats recommended) Helmets can be rented from program
- Athletic Support Cup Required.
