Welcome to the Bel Air Recreation Committee Fall Baseball season! Fall Ball is structured as an instructional, developmental league designed to keep players active, refine their skills, and prepare them for the following spring divisions.
Fall 2026 Key Season Information

Season Dates: Sunday, September 13, 2026 – Sunday, November 1, 2026 (8 Weeks)

Weekly Commitment: 1 time per week. All age groups practice and play exclusively on Sundays.

Age Determination: Age groups use April 1st as their age determination date.

Daily Schedule Trend: To maximize field use and logistics, the older age groups generally play in the morning sessions, transitioning to the younger age groups in the early afternoon.
Fall Age Group Divisions
T-Ball Program

Target Audience: Designed for the youngest players to learn core fundamentals (hitting off a tee, basic throwing, base running) in a non-competitive, high-energy environment.

Fall Format: A 90-minute weekly session split evenly between a practice environment and a non-competitive game where the full lineup bats and no outs are recorded.

7/8 Coach Pitch Baseball

Target Audience: Designed for players aged 7 and 8 transitioning from T-Ball to situational baseball. Players who are 6 years old and have completed two years of T-Ball may request to move up to this division.

9/10 Baseball

Note: 13-year-olds who prefer to transition straight to a full-sized high school diamond should register for the 13/15 division.

13/15 Baseball

Target Audience: Designed primarily for high school-age players (9th and 10th graders) looking to develop advanced skills in a structured, recreational setting. Games are played on an 80-foot diamond.

Equipment Note: Players must bring their own glove and a BBCOR bat with a drop-3 rating.

16/17 Baseball (Scrimmage Style Play)

Target Audience: Designed for upper high school-age players (primarily 11th and 12th graders) to participate in competitive, structured recreational baseball. Participants must be 16 or 17 as of April 1st; players 18 and older are ineligible.

Fall Format: Advanced high school-level rules focusing on refining skill-sets and maintaining competitive reps.

Provided by Program: Uniform shirt/jersey and hat.

Required from Parents: Baseball glove and appropriate athletic footwear (baseball cleats are highly recommended for all groups except T-Ball). Athletic Supporter required for all players in 11/13 and older.

Optional/Recommended: Personal helmets and bats are highly encouraged, though team equipment is made available by coaches as needed.

Spring 2026 Information
- All games and practices are played on various days throughout the week/weekend in the Spring.
- Game times and days of the week vary for each age group.
- Games begin in April and continue through early June of 2026.
Spring 2026 T-Ball Program
Season: Spring 2026
Day: Saturdays
Session Length: 90 minutes per week
Program Structure
Each Saturday session will be divided into two parts:
- 45 minutes – Practice: Skill development focusing on the fundamentals of T-ball, including hitting, throwing, catching, base running, and teamwork.
- 45 minutes – Clinic Game Play: Structured, game-style play designed to reinforce skills learned during practice in a fun and supportive environment.
Uniforms
Each registered player will receive a complete team uniform, which includes:
- Team shirt
- Baseball pants
- Hat
- Socks
Required & Recommended Equipment
- Required:
- Baseball glove (each player must provide their own)
- Recommended:
- Bat
- Helmet
Players who do not have a bat or helmet will be able to use equipment provided by the coach.
Program Focus
The Spring 2026 T-Ball program is designed to introduce young players to the game of baseball in a positive, age-appropriate setting. Emphasis is placed on learning basic skills, building confidence, encouraging sportsmanship, and having fun.

7/8 Coach Pitch Baseball – Spring 2026
Program Overview:
Our 7/8 Coach Pitch Baseball program is designed for players aged 7 and 8 to learn the fundamentals of baseball in a fun, supportive environment. The season runs from early April through mid-June 2026. Practices and games are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with each team participating in 2 events per week. Exact schedules will vary throughout the spring to ensure flexibility and variety.

The season runs from early April through mid-June 2026. Practices and games are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with games played on a 70-foot field.

Program Overview:
Our 13/15 Baseball program is designed for high school–age players, primarily 9th and 10th graders, who want to continue developing their skills in a competitive and enjoyable environment. The season runs from early April through mid-June 2026. Practices and games are scheduled primarily on Mondays and Wednesdays, with occasional events on other days to accommodate makeup games. Games are played on an 80-foot field.

- Bats must be a BBCOR Bat with a drop 3 rating

Players are encouraged to bring their own helmet, though coaches will provide equipment as needed.

Each player will receive a shirt, hat, and pants as part of the program.
