Welcome to Bel Air Co-Ed Fall Field Hockey Program

The Bel Air Hockey Co-Ed Program is geared on developing skills in the sport of field hockey. We welcome both new and experienced players.
Registration will be open on or around April 1 and remain open until spots are filled or the end of June. We encourage you to sign up early to guarantee a spot. A waitlist will be available once our initial teams are filled.
Cost:
- Clinic (K-2): $100 - Includes reversible pinnie
- 3rd-8th Grade: $150 - Includes full uniform kit (Jersey, Shorts, and Socks)
Our program participates in the Maryland Youth Field Hockey League (MYFHL) and plays games throughout Harford, Baltimore, Carroll and Howard counties. Clinic participates in organized playdays.
Practice Fields are typically Bel Air High School Turf or Kelly Field.
The season runs from mid-August to early November for most age groups. Clinic is generally a shorter season.
Format of Play and Practices during the Seasons is the following:
- 3rd-8th grade teams practice 2 weeknights (typically Bel Air High Turf or Kelly Field) and play games on Sundays.
- Practices for 3rd-8th grade for the fall season begin mid-August. You will receive an email from your coach by early-August.
- Bel Air Rec Field Hockey is also the Host of Harford Hockey Festival, a premier rec tournament, where the majority of our teams (3rd-8th) participate in tournament play. The set date for this Tournament is Saturday, September 26, 2026. More information to follow.
- Clinic (K-2) will practice 1-2x per week (including Sunday mornings on the turf) + Playdays to be scheduled on an ad-hoc basis with neighboring programs. Details will be finalized with clinic administrators closer to the start of the season.

- Bel Air Rec Field Hockey is run by volunteers. The goal is to create a committee group that will help provide the players the development and skills that will contribute to future hockey athletes. If interested in volunteering, please contact commissioner cari@belairrec.org
