Bel Air Field Hockey is a Bel Air Recreation program that participates in the Maryland Youth Field Hockey League.
The season runs from mid August to early November.
Bel Air Field Hockey Program is welcoming all players starting at K- thru 8th grades.
The Bel Air Hockey Co-Ed Program is geared on developing skills in the sport of field hockey. We welcome both new and experienced players. Bel Air Field Hockey coaches are experienced who have played the sport either at the high school level or college level and willing to pass on these skilled traits of hockey stick skills to the Bel Air Field Hockey Program.
K-2nd , 3rd -4th, 5th-6th, 7th & 8th
- Format of Play and Practices during the Seasons is the following:
3rd-8th grade teams practice 2 week nights (typically Kelly Field or Bel Air High Turf when available) and play games on Sunday afternoons throughout Harford, Baltimore, Carroll and Howard counties in Maryland. - Clinic will be TBD when the teams can meet the most. The seasons begins the Sat. after Labor Day and runs through the end of October. Playdays will be scheduled throughout the seasons; these can vary on weekends or weeknights. Expect an email with more details in late August from the Clinic Lead administrator.
- Practices for 3rd-8th grade for the fall season begin mid August. You will receive an email from your coach by mid August.
- Web-Based Registration will open in the Spring and close by July 1 (or sell-out).
- Bel Air Rec Field Hockey is also the Host of Harford Hockey Festival, a premier rec tournament, where the majority of our teams participate in tournament play. The set date for this Tournament is Saturday, September 27, 2025. More information to follow.
