IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1) The Fishing Rodeo is open to children ages 15 and under. All children 12 and
under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adults are allowed to fish
but all fish must be reeled in by children.
2) All participants must sign in prior to the start of the event. The rodeo will be from
10am to 1pm.
3) The pond will be stocked with channel catfish prior to the event. All bass must be
released back to the pond. If possible, please bring a bucket to transport fish to
the registration table. Fish will be measured by length. Medals will be presented
to 1 st , 2 nd , and 3rd place in each species. (trout, bass, catfish, crappie and
sunfish).
4) Power bait and night crawlers will be provided.
5) Prizes will be presented to lucky winners every hour.
6) Participants are encouraged to bring their own fishing tackle. A limited number of
rods and reels will be available for use that day. First come, first served.
7) The event is free and will be held at Bynum Run Park, 715 Churchville Road. No
fishing license is required for adults for this event.
8) In the event of inclement weather please call 443-955-0484. A decision will be
made by 8am on the day of the event.
