‘Cheerabilities’ gives people with special needs chance to cheer

A new cheer squad in Bel Air Rec is creating a safe space for people with special needs to participate in cheerleading. Miryana Sanchez is one of six cheerleaders on Harford County’s first Cheerabilities squad, a team where anyone with any disability can come out and cheer. “I feel so happy to be here in cheerleading,” she said.
